Reefer Madness may be a funny film to watch in this day and age. It’s so obviously over-the-top and campy, and it’s easy to laugh at. But keep in mind, originally this movie was taken seriously, and many people thought cannabis could actually do serious harm.

Lie #1

Cannabis has no medical benefits

Truth: Cannabis has amazing medical benefits here is a few diseases and illness it can help ease and heal.

Cannabis can kill you.

Truth: Never has there ever been a death linked to consuming cannabis. There is no way cannabis can kill you unless you were hit by a truck full of flower, or you can find a way to smoke about 15 pounds of cannabis in 15 minutes by yourself. Cannabis does not even have any harmful side effects.

Lie #3

Marijuana is a gateway drug.

Truth: Cannabis is not a gateway drug and actually helps your brain communicate better with your body through the central nervous system. creating a better and cleaner process with your body to communicate. which relates to the benefits the plant gives to its users.

Lie #4

Only lazy people smoke cannabis

Truth: There are thousands of productive, successful and very motivated individuals that not only support the legalization of cannabis but are also cannabis consumers themselves. Everyone from doctors and teachers to restaurant workers, engineers, and someone from every profession in between consumes cannabis such as Olympic gold medal holder and Hall of Famers to even some of the most successful entrepreneurs

Cannabis kills more people then alcohol
